Any adult planning on attending the campout weekend at Joint Base MDL, your information for Base clearance needs to be given to Jim Iannello by the BEGINNING OF TONIGHTS MEETING.  The rep. from the Base will be there to pick the information up.  Without clearance, they will not allow you to enter the military base.

Second payment of $175 per Scout for Summer Camp is due (if not paid up already).

Please RSVP (yeah or nay) for both the Joint Base MDL Lakehurst Campout (April 19-21 including the parent day on April 20) and the Civil War Camporee (May 3-5) ASAP. Details are in the Calendar. The deadline for both is tomorrow (April 16).

Signups are up on the website for the Joint Base MDL and there are separate signups for Scouts and Guests.  There is a limitation on the number of Scouts spots for camping to 30.  Parents / Guests must sign up on the website and contact Jim Iannello at (917) 509-5741 to provide information for security clearance.  Guest's cost is $10.00 per person. 

There were many of you that wanted ATV as an activity for Summer Camp. To make it as fair as possible we had a youngster draw names out of a hat to determine whom we would try to register first. The first two names were Patrick Muller and Shawn McCarthy. We were able to get both of you in but that was it before all spots filled up (there were six total). We did waitlist everyone else so if a spot happens to open up, we will let you know. For Shawn and Patrick, you will need to pay an extra $40 for ATV on top of the regular camp fee. Following are our new Patrols with the Adult Advisors listed as well as the Patrol Leaders and Assistant Patrol Leaders. Scouts, please be aware of which Adults to go to for sign-offs and questions. The Patrol Leaders must attend the PLCs. If they are not able to make it, contact your APL and have them go in your place.  

We are planning to move the day of the week for Troop Meetings to Wednesdays starting in the September of 2024. The time of the meetings will stay the same. As many families have multiple events during the week, we wanted to provide advance notice so that any potential conflicts can be cleared before then. Please bring any questions or concerns to the next PLC on April 9, 2024.
